The dunes are not as dangerous as some idiots who can Festive. It's a blast. But do not let others or alcohol can affect your decision and something stupid. It is a desert to get water in abundance too. This winter days are short and the nights can be very cold. One advantage of the dry atmosphere and so far from the larger cities, the nights can be very clear. Stargazing is amazing! When you return to familiar friends, before you should have nothing to fear.
If they seem to be as dangerous daredevil just say in advance that you get motion sickness and if you start throwing, jumping dunes on the head.
