Piccolo Headjoint I'm A Pretty Good Flute Player, But I Can Barely Get A Sound On Piccolo!?

I'm a pretty good flute player, but I can barely get a sound on piccolo!? - piccolo headjoint

I took private lessons in flute for a few years, and my teacher told me that I am fairly well advanced. I've learned vibrato, correct mouth, etc., my technique is very good, and I console) every note C4 (and D4, with a little warm. However, I play a piccolo rather old school in the band of the EPP, and can only sound other notes. I know I have to blow more air with a small mouth, and holds the instrument in my upper lip, but I still can not control all, and registration is very spacious. The Piccolo has a head piece of cork might expect, but it is a Yamaha model is decent .... Advice from someone who knows what they're talking about?

It depends on all of us (me playing the flute). It is extremely difficult. The trick is to keep practicing. Just blow air faster and get the smallest hole possible.

Try again in practice, because even though you may be a good flute player, it takes much practice to switch to another instrument, even if you think you are right. If) after hours of practice (or days, it's not for a new piccolo.

and practice is a first, second, I would take her piccolo in order to receive benefits. or ask the school or something. Instruments in the school do not get much love as their own instruments. You may have problems in previous years. Piccolo is harder than it seems. You almost have to put more power when the wind blows. Get your help, a professor of flute (if you know what you do) you can find someone to help you! perhaps in the higher grades are piccolo player who could help? In general, it may be easier to learn when you see someone play the instrument. Perhaps you can see some online videos of tips? It is difficult to explain the piccolo, and based on what you say you play well. Check the device. As anyone who can help and practice it! You have the knack! I hope that helped! Good luck with your instrument, music rocks! (for flutes)
